Christopher DeMilia, General Manager at The Verb, Samuels & Associates boutique hotel in the heart of The Fenway, describes himself as “the lead singer of the band! Looking to drive the rock and roll experience at The Verb”. As general manager, Chris oversees the day-to-day operations of the hotel, providing guests with an authentic and personable experience only found at the mid-century landmark.

Chris brings over a decade of hospitality experience to Samuels & Associates. Prior to joining the team, Chris worked with Magna Hospitality and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in managerial and task force positions in major cities throughout the country. Chris is the co-chair of the Management Forum Fundraising Committee, has been recognized for the work in his field receiving Manager of the Year in 2017 from Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, and was a nominee for the 2018 Massachusetts Lodging Association Stars of the Industry award.

Chris is a huge basketball fan; you can often find him cheering for the Celtics or playing on the local courts in Somerville. Well-aligned with The Verb, he loves music, his favorite genres: soul, hip-hop and classic rock. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Curry College as well as a Master’s Certificate in Hospitality Management from eCornell.
