Tim Rivett joined Samuels & Associates in 2014 as Chief Engineer, was promoted to Operations Manager of Van Ness earning Leader of the Quarter Q1 in 2021, and later became the Area Operations Manager across a variety of residential, office, and mixed-use properties. Tim is now General Manager of Lyrik, a striking development that rises above the Massachusetts Turnpike housing a variety of retail, dining, and office spaces.

In his current role, Tim provides leadership and direction to facilitate effective management and maximize the value of the development and works collaboratively with internal teams to develop long-term strategies, business plans, and financing for smooth and efficient operations. Tim also acts as a liaison between local neighborhood organizations and associations, strengthening and creating new connections within the community.

Prior to Samuels & Associates, Tim worked with Kensington Investment Company as Director of Capital and Projects and Facility Services, Normandy Real Estate Partners as Lead Building Engineer, and Stony Brook Office Park as Lead Mechanic lending to his deep-set industry expertise. Now a part of the S&A team, Tim enjoys the collaborative nature of the firm and looks forward to tackling the exciting challenges each new day might bring.

Over the years, Tim has also earned a variety of certifications including a Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM), and an MA Refrigeration Technician License among others, and is also a part of professional organizations such as the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Tim earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

In his free time, Tim enjoys outdoor activities like camping, fishing, and boating with his family and pets.
