As a Financial Analyst on the Investments & Finance team at Samuels & Associates, Max Chaban supports underwriting, portfolio management, and financial analysis across a diverse range of real estate asset classes, including multifamily, retail, hotel, and office. He plays a key role in guiding investment strategy by producing detailed proformas, evaluating project feasibility, and preparing investment materials for both internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to joining Samuels & Associates, Max held roles in acquisitions and asset management at Time Equities, where he contributed to the successful acquisition of industrial assets, and at Newmark, where he supported multifamily underwriting and capital markets initiatives. He began his real estate career at Princeton Properties, assisting in underwriting and due diligence for development and acquisition deals across New England.

Originally from Andover, Max is passionate about real estate and the collaborative culture at Samuels & Associates, where he values working alongside highly motivated and intelligent colleagues. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and basketball, staying active, cheering on Boston sports teams, and spending time with family and friends. Max holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, where he received the MSRED Academic Excellence Award, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Finance minor from Tufts University.
