Chris Mitre is a Senior Property Accountant at Samuels & Associates, where he works across commercial, retail, and residential properties. In his role, Chris maintains and prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and develops investor and partner reporting packages that outline property performance including liquidity, budget comparisons, and future projections. He collaborates closely with property managers, general managers, and external partners to ensure accurate, transparent reporting and financial success.

Prior to joining Samuels & Associates, Chris worked with Plymouth Industrial REIT as a Senior Property Accountant and held additional accounting roles with The Boston Foundation and State Street Corporation. Now at S&A, Chris appreciates the firm’s culture of connection, shaped through teambuilding activities, volunteer initiatives, and professional development programs. Chris holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Born in Albania, Chris moved to Boston at the age of five and has since lived in several neighborhoods including South Boston, Winthrop, and Beacon Hill, before recently settling in East Boston as a new homeowner. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, especially pickup basketball and weekly soccer games with friends. Married in July 2024, Chris and his wife are happy pet parents to two cats, Cheeto and Dorito.
