Senior Construction Manager
Brian Meyer is a Senior Construction Manager at Samuels & Associates, where he works with the development team to create value during projects’ early design stage, reduce risk through close management of the design and construction teams, minimize impacts through tight logistics and phasing plans, and ensure operations team and tenant satisfaction throughout project closeout and turnover.
Brian says that his passion for real estate stems from his work renovating grand, old Victorian homes in his hometown of Winchester, Massachusetts. “I have always loved the process of thinking through what the occupants really want and need out of their space, and I love stepping back to see the finished product.”
Prior to joining the Samuels team in 2019, Brian was a Senior Vice President at Colliers International consulting on highest & best use, acquisition and disposition, and permitting strategy, as well as advising owners and tenants on office, educational, retail and residential projects. He also served as a project manager for Chelsea Neighborhood Developers and Keypoint Partners, leading a variety of residential, office, and retail projects.
Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor’s license in Massachusetts and has earned certifications from OSHA and ASHE Healthcare Construction. Brian is also a member of NAIOP, ULI and Corenet.
In his spare time, you can find Brian skiing, hiking, traveling, and coaching his kids’ hockey, baseball, and soccer teams.
