Great Vibes at The Verb
Cool Vibes, Music
From the House of Blues to the former headquarters of the city’s alternative weekly newspaper, the Boston Phoenix, and rock radio stations WFNX-FM and WBCN-FM, The Fenway is synonymous with Boston’s music scene.
The Verb Hotel, a renovated Howard Johnson’s whose interiors are distinguished by rock & roll artifacts and collectibles, honors The Fenway’s iconic place in the city’s artistic and cultural heritage. With the hotel’s “Band on the Run” series celebrating 365 days of music, The Verb amplifies the hotel’s rock & roll theme to give guests a full musical experience. Each day of the year is dedicated to a specific artist based on that day’s history, and music from that artist and similar artists fills the hotel all day. The Verb even offers extra tidbits like trivia competitions or small artist-related novelties, like colorful hippie glasses for guests in honor of Janis Joplin.
