Samuels and Associates is seeking to hire a Yardi System. This role would be partially remote, with a weekly (or as deemed necessary) meeting day in the corporate office at 136 Brookline Ave. As the Yardi System Administrator, this role will provide end user support, assist with writing Yardi SQL reports, and act as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications. You will also serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned Yardi projects and new module implementations and integrations. In this position, you will work closely with employees from all divisions.

- Acts as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications and related modules, including Voyager, RENTCafé, PAYscan, Fixed Assets, and others as implemented.
- Ensures the back-end system setup of users, workflows, security permissions, and functions that support business processes are properly configured and functioning.
- Provides front-line support for team members using Yardi software and resolves helpdesk tickets to ensure prompt, effective service and internal customer satisfaction.
- Serves as the primary responder for Help Desk inquiries related to Yardi issues, including user-related questions, system errors, and performance concerns.
- Liaises with Yardi technical support to troubleshoot, document, and resolve complex user and system issues that impact operations.
- Performs regular system maintenance, including user provisioning and deactivation, role and security group updates, system audits, menu updates, and database integrity checks.
- Maintains current and accurate documentation of user guides, training materials, process workflows, and system configuration settings.
- Collaborates with Business Unit Heads and department leaders to align Yardi capabilities with evolving business process needs and strategic objectives.
- Maintains an active understanding of department projects, business cycles, and timelines that may be impacted by system performance or upgrades.
- Creates and delivers system training programs and onboarding sessions for new users; leads periodic refresher training to optimize system utilization.
- Evaluates, audits, and documents all system settings, workflow automations, and customizations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Serves as administrator or co-administrator for other business systems (e.g., ChromeRiver, Nexus, Conservice, or RealPage) related to accounting, operations, or procurement as assigned.
- Partners with IT and Compliance teams to ensure Yardi data governance, cybersecurity protocols, and system access policies are enforced.
- Supports system upgrades, new module rollouts, patch testing, and data migration projects by performing test scripts and quality assurance tasks.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities for automation, improved system utilization, and integration with third-party tools.
- Stays current on Yardi updates, new releases, and industry best practices; shares knowledge with key stakeholders through newsletters or internal updates.
- Participates in user groups, webinars, or vendor trainings to remain engaged with the broader Yardi user community.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Residential and Commercial Property Management system experience.
- Experience with onboarding residential and commercial properties into Yardi
- Associate’s degree in computer science, Accounting, or equivalent education.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Yardi Administrator or Super User.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and write Yardi YSR and/or SQL reports.
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of Yardi applications used in the organization and the industry.
- Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications for email, networking, and business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage Help Desk responsibilities and multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate efficiently with employees at all levels of the organization.
