The Service Technician team is attentive to Samuels & Associates’ goals relative to resident satisfaction. The Service Technicians are responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the site.
Reports to: Site Service Manager/General Manager
- Review work orders throughout the day and complete in order received as well as according to Permission to Order status
- Respond to all work orders within 24 hours
- Communicate status of work order to the Concierge and management office when follow up is required
- Accompany and supervise vendors on any in-unit or common area service requests and ensure items are completed on scheduled
- Leave apartment/area of work clean and tidy during work and after completing
- Complete pre-walk of apartments and notify Area Operations Manager and Client Service Manager of any issues identified
- Review Make Ready Schedule provided by Assistant General Manager
- Complete tasks in accordance with schedule
- Complete make ready paperwork and provide to the Leasing Manager for resident file
- Complete move-in keys prior to lease start date
- Complete daily tour of the property and ensure common area requests are completed daily
- Monitor routine maintenance items such as area light bulbs, heating/cooling, paint, trash, etc.
- Maintain building equipment
Qualifications and Skills
- Maintenance related experience is preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills necessary
- Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to other accurately and quickly, including answering phones, attending meetings, written correspondence, or other forms of communication
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the office/facility
