Samuels & Associates is seeking a Seasonal Events Coordinator, whose role will focus on supporting our efforts to activate the Fenway neighborhood through community programming and special events. Reports to: Marketing Manager

  • Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Events Coordinator will support community programming and marketing events. Handle all day-to-day logistics, including but not limited to event setup, signage placement, facilitate deliveries, provide AV/technical support, event breakdown, and issue management.
  • Engage with event attendees, addressing inquiries and providing information with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external vendors to ensure day-of success for events.
  • Maintain compliance with insurance and health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to post-event activities, such as gathering feedback and compiling sales reports.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to deliver and promote event-related materials to event attendees.

  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours is required based on programming and special event schedules, as well as ability to maintain a flexible schedule. All events are hosted outdoors.
  • 2-3 years of experience with event management and marketing in a fast-paced environment, including related college internships or contract work.
  • Experience with, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Basic knowledge of event management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and social media platforms.

This position may require breaking down and setting up physical items that we host. Applicant must have the ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to (approx.) 25-35 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the properties/sites.
